It depends, if you mean because it's an EV then that's not what I mean. I mean as long as it's done in the spirit of the original and not just an EV car that happens to look like a beach buggy. It might be technically better but has none of the charm and capability that drew people to the original. See Defender.

I'm not sure that price is justified for a 20KWh battery pack, I guess it's destined to be another rich person's toy. It's definitely still a Manx dune buggy though, which was my concern.
