Great album and happy to see it used on Top Gear.

Are the clips working for anyone else? I click them but nothing plays?
I'm having issues with them as well in Firefox, I have to use Safari to play them. What browser are you using?

I think there are at least two pieces from the Run, Lola, Run Soundtrack in there:

08:05 - 08:43 - Track 14 Running Two (Remix) - Tom Tykwer, J. Klimek, R. Heil; remixed by Tommy Eckart
52:28 - 52:37 - Track 7 Casino - Tom Tykwer, J. Klimek, R. Heil

I also thought 54:29 - 54:41 was from that sound track as well, but now I'm not so sure.

40:47 - 40:56 sounds suspiciously like Dead Can Dance, I could have sworn it was something from Anastasis, but I didn't find it by just scanning through the CD.

Anyone know the actual song Clarkson plays on his iPod while Hammond is filling up his Mustang?
It's listed above as Marvin Gaye - Let's get it on but I can't find who the female vocalist is. Not even Shazam finds it

I was also looking for this song but found nothing. I see that it's listed as Marvin Gaye but the episode I saw it was a female singing. I even tried to google the lyrics and found nothing.

It was most certainly not "Let's Get it On" in the version that aired in the States. Even Googling the lyrics wasn't helpful.

I have been looking for the same information. After much searching, still no luck. The TG show on BBC America is edited differently. Therefore the British original version has "Let's get it on" playing in that scene. The American version uses a different song which I too would love to identify. Nothing posted on TG America WTS either.

I can't find it anywhere either. Shazam, SoundHound, and Google aren't any help.

The only thing I can think it might be is an original recording which is commonly dubbed over licensed music in a soundtrack when there are licensing issues in distribution.

It sounds like folks are sure the UK airing included Let's Get It On by Marvin Gaye and we know the U.S. airing did not. Since TGUK is produced in the UK I suppose it's possible that BBC America couldn't work out the royalty agreement with Tamla (Motown Records) by the time the episode was scheduled to air in the U.S.

They may have substituted an original recording in a production studio or pulled from what's called "stock" a song that fit the pace and feel of the scene. The only thing I can think of at this point is to e-mail the BBC or James Bryce and ask...If anyone here has contact with anyone on the production team I think we would all be greatful if they could solve the mystery.

Where on earth do you find the Jeff Cardoni tracks ("Greed", "The Chief", etc)? I barely even find reference to them online at all, let alone a sample of them.
