The styling is so confusing. It's like someone put a Honda Civic Si, Lamborghini, and a Dodge Charger in a blender and hit "Frappe"

Gumpert as in Gumpert Apollo?

and so it begins :)

woot for hydrogen!!

I was thinking the GTR and the NSX had sexy times....

Wait a minute. A 15kW fuel cell?? Even with the big battery, this isn't going to truly deliver on the promise of a few-minute fillup for long journeys like, say, a big diesel.

As this is at least somewhat a Gumpert, there has to be maths
Let's say you travel at a sane Autobahn pace of 160km/h and use maybe 250Wh/km (probably a low guesstimate at that speed, https://cleantechnica.com/2018/07/15/tesla-range-plotted-relative-to-speed-temperature-graphs/ suggests it's a bit higher for a Model S, a lot higher for a Model X), that's 40kW or 10% max power.
Assuming 100% fuel cell, converter, etc. efficiency you'd be depleting the battery at 25kW, so it'll be flat in a little over 2.5h / 400km or so.

A quick refill, you think? Think again.

At that point you'll only have consumed about 20l from your 70l tank, assuming 2kWh/l. No point in refueling your tank, your battery would still be flat. I hope it has a fast charging port... but if it does, might as well ditch the small fuel cell marketing gag and add lightness.

For comparison, the 2017 Clarity had a 103kW fuel cell and a tiny buffer battery. That truly could do fast long distance quick refill travel.
