Fast forward for most of it. It looked like a parody of a parody.

I miss Top Gear US, they were getting pretty good.

That's pretty much my opinion too - I'll hope it gets better, but it feels so forced and fake with this first episode. And the test track is so characterless that it needs a faster car to bring interest. It did seem like CJ put in a pretty good initial lap, but without reference times (what did US-Stig do?) it's tough to tell.

And, no offense, Antron - his voice is a wee bit squeaky, and tough to listen to.

It was hard to watch, the studio segments are the worst part, I skipped the whatever they are calling it Start in a car segment, the Raptor film felt like a commercail, the NSX film was decent-ish, but nothing to write home about and did not offer anything new the other shows covered. I am going to see the first season to the end, just because it's still primetime TV summer break and so there isnt much on Sunday nights right now till fall primetime kicks back off.

But the TLDR number rating, 4
