We should all be thankful that at least they kept it a relatively normal color, and not, say, blue.

I didn't see that post, but saw this image on my Imgur front page. Sounds like the stars just aligned!
 
The women have a shorter distance because they have less time to run. They have to start late and end early because they have to set up everything before they run, then clean up everything after they run, of course.
 
I'm totally on board with that theory, it's brilliant. It really does fit, because:
  • Bond also changes age (and possibly gender in the future).
  • He seems to cheat death.
  • I'm pretty sure Moore and Dalton both had sonic eyebrows.
