This show is still on the air? I thought that History canned it years ago, aided by the YouTube clip of Jeremy Clarkson saying "its been canned; the Americans have no idea what we're on about"...?

This show is still on the air? I thought that History canned it years ago, aided by the YouTube clip of Jeremy Clarkson saying "its been canned; the Americans have no idea what we're on about"...?

The show was originally meant to be on NBC and it was canned but later the History channel... who apparently will show anything but history on their channel decided to pick it up.
I think that's how it happened.

There have been 3 pilots for an American version of Top Gear. One for Discovery Channel, then the NBC one and then History.
