Identifying A Vehicle

Can you post pic's for identification on this thread? Anyone know?
Yeah, but I think because you’re still new, you’ll need to post more before the photo posting feature is offered.

That looks like a BMW E30 Baur TC Cabrio, different from a normal E30 cabrio because it has chrome around the door frames instead of having pillarless doors. Those look like Alpina wheels.

Here's a TC Cabrio

Here's a similar non-Baur cabrio (pillarless doors) with Alpina wheels.

Thanks, yes it does look, like the first one posted, will post up a front and back view later. Any chance it might be a combo, modified, altered etc

It's unlikely to be modified if it's a Baur TC, it looks standard apart from the wheels. BMW didn't make their own convertible E30 until 1987 apparently, before that Baur would convert a 2-door car. They also did this with the earlier E21 3-series.

It happened a lot back then, if the manufacturer didn't make a version of a car (like a convertible, an estate car or a 4-door version in the case of the original Range Rover) there was probably a company who would sell the conversion to customers with lots of money.

I think I found an old ad for that exact car. Listed as a Baur TC2 and those are definitely Alpina wheels.

I dunno about the shape man, from this angle it looks like a Mk1 Ford Orion. :p
