Random Thoughts....

Its not summer and we have the fire (gas) on and I'm still cold. Whats all this white stuff outside - there's a few inches of it lying about?

With Porno-Steffi visiting the troops there?

They should do a film with her, Theresa Orlowski and Sarah Palin. Preferably disguised as a WW II re-enactment.

Wait? Did i say WW II? So we need the French, too!

EDIT: We shall call the film MILF WAR II.

 @ what a bit of rain does to the city of Los Angeles - totally deserted streets, and the few cars that dared to go anywhere were almost crawling.

Pathetic!

Ask Kiki about California Highway Patrol escorting people over The Grapevine pass because it was raining.

Just spent well over an hour re-defining, improving and colouring the base layer of a picture for Photoshop to crash and loose everything.

God how I wish I would remember to save on a regular basis... :wall:

/facepalm seriously? Are we that spoiled/retarded here?

There was a person yesterday that was driving in front of me on a road where the speed limit is 45 mph. Now I'm doing 45 mph all the way, and I have to sudden brake because this asshole is #1: lost, and #2: scared of the rain. He's weaving in and out of his own lane, trying to dodge not puddles but slightly more wet spots on the road. Dude... it's raining! It's going to be wet! On top of all this he's doing 15 mph. And I'm not joking, he did 15. The cars behind me were high-beam flashing at me, then they switch lanes and realize the problem isn't me. He then, without signaling gets into the left turn lane at the stoplight (which is where I'm headed since I'm almost home), and sneaks by... dude wtf. Finally he does an illegal u-turn at the stoplight.

Mag-fucking-nificent. Bravo dumbass.. <claps>

:(. I usually am half-way through my projects before I realize I haven't saved the document. Knock-on-wood, photoshop hasn't severely crashed on me yet.

I've learned now to save like 5 minutes into a flyer or whatever, and then hit ctrl-s everytime I do something.

Congrats

Yup. It's really hard helping people write job applications. But apparently I'm the go-to gal in my little group as everyone I've helped has been listed for interview, if not successfully gotten the job.

Also, we could be getting snow today!!!
In Summer.

I have so got to get out of this house sitting deal. This time, two little dogs, dodgy internets and everything is tiny. Oh, and the dogs get up on the kitchen table. Like....wtf? Who lets that happen?????

I've used the word ensure too many times, what's a better word

It's the little things in job apps that people don't seem to pick up on that create more impact.

Stating things are a requirement of your current job makes it sound like you wouldn't do it otherwise
accountable sounds much better than saying you were responsible

It's things like that...

Also the problem is, after a while you believe your own bullshit

I had this problem only it was I was almost done with the picture, went into the other room, and came back and the computer battery was dead :(
Finished my picture, despite Photoshop kicking me in the balls and deleting 2 hours work!

Now have massive backache, yay! <_<
This is why I have a laptop. If I sit at a desk to draw it fucks the hell out of my back and with a laptop I can just switch positions when I start to get stiff and lie down and stuff.

Nowadays there's no reason why it shouldn't make automatic backups... I know it's saving people from themselves, but it's a feature I have found useful more than once in the newer versions of Office.

Even textedit does that now and it's the mac version of notepad. :|
photoshop full price costs what? like 300$ just for the single program?

Software that is used by business always gets you reamed, because $300 is sweet f.a for most businesses
